EXCARD GLOBAL Membership Terms and Conditions |

|
|
1. Registration |
|
1.1 |
Application for EXCARD GLOBAL Membership is open to anyone aged 18 years and above
residing in the various countries that we serve. (Refer to clause 4.1 to know the
countries we serve/ship to) However, approval of membership is subject to the discretion
of the Management of EXCARD Corporation Sdn. Bhd. |

1.2 |
The management of EXCARD Corporation Sdn. Bhd. has the right to decline any individual
Member status or to terminate a Member's membership at its discretion without prejudice. |
|
1.3 |
To join EXCARD GLOBAL as a Member, you must first complete the online registration
form on the EXCARD GLOBAL website (www.excardglobal.com). Each EXCARD GLOBAL member is entitled to only 1 membership account (Online Member Account) |
|
1.4 |
Newly registered EXCARD GLOBAL members will be given an official Member Code in
order to make order transactions on the EXCARD GLOBAL website. This Member Code
is non-transferable and is restricted to non-Members or other registered Members. |
|
1.5 |
You may terminate your membership at any time, and the balance in your online account
will be refunded within 14 working days (according to our working calendar). As
proof, all requests for termination of membership must be in writing and mailed
to EXCARD Corporation Sdn. Bhd. Balance in Online Member Account amounting to USD20.00
or less will not be made. If you decide to rejoin EXCARD GLOBAL, you will need to
re-register and pay the current registration fee offered. |

|
2. Ordering / Operations |
|
2.1 |
All printing of EXCARD GLOBAL products will be solely undertaken by EXCARD GLOBAL
and/or its appointed vendor. EXCARD GLOBAL Members are restricted from submitting
any order for an EXCARD GLOBAL product to another printer/lithographer. If you,
as a member, do not adhere to this condition, we reserve the right to close your
online account and terminate your membership as well as demand the return of all
materials and information pertaining to EXCARD GLOBAL. In such a case, we will reimburse
you for the return of materials which shall be considered “used” and payment for
them shall be subject to their conditions. |

2.2 |
As an EXCARD GLOBAL member, you are solely responsible for your own customers including
any transaction such as payment collection. |
|
2.3 |
EXCARD GLOBAL provides printing services to its Members only. |
|
2.4 |
All orders must be submitted through the EXCARD GLOBAL website. (Refer to website
for online ordering procedure) |
|
2.5 |
EXCARD GLOBAL reserves the right to reject any members' order that does not comply
with the standard product specifications for output set by EXCARD GLOBAL and stated
on the EXCARD GLOBAL website. |
|
2.6 |
Once you submit an order to EXCARD GLOBAL, it is considered a purchase. Once an
order is in the process stage (i.e, “Pending”, “Preflight “, “Print” or “Delivery”
status indicated in the Track Order page) it cannot be canceled or changed. (Refer
to our clause 8. Product Refund / Reimbursement Policy) |

2.7 |
If you are required to amend and resend to us an artwork file for your print job,
you must do so within 14 working days (according to our working calendar) after
receiving a “Pending” notice from us. If you fail to do so, we will deduct 20% from
the amount that was paid for the print job as a handling fee and the credit back
the balance into your online account. |
|
2.8 |
We will not proceed with your submitted print job if there is insufficient cash
advance in your online account. Should this happen, you are required to reload sufficient
cash advance to proceed with your order. |
|
2.9 |
EXCARD GLOBAL does not provide colour proofing or proofreading services, nor do
we provide hardcopy of official receipts for purchases. You can print out the official
receipts for your print jobs from the “My Receipt” page in the EXCARD GLOBAL website. |
|
2.10 |
EXCARD Corporation Sdn. Bhd. will not hesitate to take legal action against any
member whom it suspects of making fraud reloads of cash advance on its website.
We shall also terminate that member's membership and bar him /her from further use
of our services. |
|
2.11 |
Record of incompleted orders in shopping cart will be retained for a maximum of
seven (7) calendar days only. |
|
2.12 |
In shopping cart, for orders that contain multiple print jobs/products, the print
job with the longest delivery time will be the final delivery date. |
|
|
|
|
|
3. Payment / Depositing (Reloading) Cash Advance |
|
3.1 |
As EXCARD GLOBAL uses a prepaid system, the cost of your print job is debited from
the cash advance amount in your online account. |
|
3.2 |
All prices and amounts shown on the EXCARD GLOBAL website are in U.S. Dollars (USD).
Unless otherwise noted, all reloads/payments made to us shall be in US currency. |
|
3.3 |
Payment/Cash Advance Reload methods: Credit cards (VISA, Mastercard and American
Express) through PAYPAL or Telegraphic Transfer (T/T) |
|
3.3.1 (i) TELEGRAPHIC TRANSFER (T/T) guideline : |

|
Make your T/T payable to EXCARD GLOBAL, indicating clearly the full amount for your
reload (minimum USD500). |

bank. |

4. Pricing / Delivery |
|
4.1 |
EXCARD GLOBAL only ships orders to the following countries: Albania, Armenia, Australia, Austria, Belarus, Belgium, Bulgaria, Canada, Croatia, Czech Republic, Cyprus, Denmark, Estonia, Falkland, Island (Malvinas), Finland, France, Georgia, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Kazakhstan, Kuwait, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Moldova, Monaco, Netherlands, New Zealand, Nigeria, Norway, Oman, Poland, Portugal, Qatar, Romania, Saudi Arabia, Slovakia, Slovenia, South Africa, South Korea, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom and United States of America. |

4.2 |
Services, products, product prices and shipping rates do not include VAT and are
subject to change from time to time. |
|
4.3 |
Original prices of orders shown in the shopping cart are also subject to change
if regarded absolutely necessary by the EXCARD GLOBAL management. |
|
4.4 |
All goods are delivered to customers by EXCARD GLOBAL's appointed shipper/carrier. |
|
4.5 |
Date Send begins when the print job is completed and shipped out of our factory. |
|
4.6 |
Date Send shown in the shopping cart include EXCARD GLOBAL's off days and exclude
weekends and public holidays observed in your country or the country of destination. |

4.7 |
Services, products and pricing are subject to change from time to time. |
|
4.8 |
EXCARD GLOBAL will not liaise with any customer/third party on Member's behalf. |
|
4.9 |
EXCARD GLOBAL will only entertain requests for rushed deliveries through its optional
Rush Order service. For special arrangements, you are required to email our Customer
Service at
care@excardglobal.com or call our hunting line: +604-4428 650. |

4.10 |
We deliver all goods through our standard delivery methods directly to members and
do not allow members to directly collect from our premise, or from any of our ODM
premises.
|
|
4.11 |
Goods delivered to EXCARD GLOBAL members are packed according to EXCARD GLOBAL's
standard packing method. Once goods have left our ODM premises, they are no longer
the responsibility of EXCARD Corporation Sdn. Bhd. However, if there are any delivery
issues or discrepancies in the print quality, members are advised to call the EXCARD
GLOBAL Customer Service to lodge a complaint. (Refer to clause 8. Product Refund
/ Reimbursement Policy) |

|
|
|
5. Artwork File Preparation / Transfer
|
|
5.1 |
All artworks that you submit to us for printing must be uploaded through the EXCARD
GLOBAL website and has to be saved into individual files according to each order. |
|
5.2 |
Due to different colour displays on various monitors, printed colours may differ
from what appears on your screen. Therefore EXCARD GLOBAL will not be responsible
for colour discrepancies in print as a result of member's reliance on the said colour
displays instead of EXCARD GLOBAL's CMYK Colour Reference manual to set his/her
colours for output. |

5.3 |
EXCARD GLOBAL uses international colour measurement standards (densitor) and has
a process colour combination tolerance of ±0.10 density. While we cannot guarantee
an exact colour match of your artwork or reprints, we endeavour to minimize colour
inconsistency in output by applying DeltaE 8 (a printing standard to measure CMYK
colour combination consistency). To ensure DeltaE 8 standard is met in all our products,
our Quality Assurance department utilizes an X-Rite Densitometer colour measurement
machine. |

5.4 |
To avoid delays or inconveniences, EXCARD GLOBAL Members are advised to check that
their artworks comply with all EXCARD GLOBAL standard specifications, setting and
format. |
|
5.5 |
When you submit an artwork file to us for printing, you agree to allow us to inspect
it using our Auto Preflight software which comes embedded in the artwork uploading
module to ensure compliance with our selected PDF quality specifications. |
|
5.5.1 Auto Preflight will only check for the following common errors encountered
in PDF files: |
(i) Missing Font, (ii) Uncurve / Unpath Font, (iii) Resolution below 300 dpi, (iv)
Artwork contains RGB and/or PANTONE. |
|
5.5.2 The Auto Preflight Process cannot be considered as the final stage of PDF/artwork
file checking |
and by no means do we acknowledge it as a complete solution for checking PDF/artwork
files. |
|
5.5.3 All PDF/artwork files that have been inspected by our auto preflight software
will be stored on the
|
EXCARD GLOBAL server for a maximum of 72 hours. After which, EXCARD GLOBAL will
remove PDF/artwork file fromserver |
|
5.5.4 Unless otherwise stated or informed, members are required to make the necessary
corrections to |
the errors on their artwork file indicated in the auto preflight report. EXCARD
GLOBAL will not accept responsibility for any consequences that may arise as the
result of member's failure to make the necessary corrections before output. |
|
5.5.5 All amended PDF/artwork file are required to go through auto preflight process
again.
|
|
5.6 |
In the event EXCARD GLOBAL detects that your artwork file does not comply with EXCARD
GLOBAL artwork setting requirements: |
|
|
5.6.1 Your print job will be listed in Pending/Resend Job List Page, which means
the print job is on hold until you
|
make the necessary corrections to it. EXCARD GLOBAL will inform you of the artwork
file problem via email within 2 hours after receiving your artwork file. (Orders
that are submitted close to closing time will only be screened the following day,
and if a problem is detected, pending notice will only be forwarded to member after
9:00am (UTC/GMT +8 hours) on that same day). |
|
5.6.2 When you receive a job pending notice, you are required to correct and resend
the artwork file through email
|
or FTP within 14 days to complete your order. |
|
5.6.3 If we do not hear from you or no corrections are made by you within 14 days
after you receive a pending
|
notice from us, we will not proceed with your print job and will return you 80%
of the cash advance that was deducted for the print job and forfeit 20% as handling
charges. |
|
5.6.4 If you insist to proceed to print without making recommended corrections highlighted
in Pending notice, you
|
do so at your own risk and shall not hold EXCARD GLOBAL, the management and staff
responsible for the outcome of your print job. |
|
5.6.5 If a you make an error while placing your order (e.g: accidentally submitting
the same order twice), you must
|
contact our Customer Service personnel immediately. We will not be held liable for
any consequences arising from that your failure to inform us immediately. |
|
5.7 |
EXCARD GLOBAL cannot be held liable for any consequences in the event an artwork
error goes undetected. |
|
5.8 |
Artwork sent must be in a single layout. Any imposing of the artwork will be done
by our DTP department.
|
|
5.9 |
No changes can be made to the artwork once submitted to EXCARD GLOBAL for printing.
Only corrections that are required to complete pending jobs will be accepted. |
|
5.10 |
All members are required to resend artwork for their repeat orders/reprints. |
|
5.11 |
EXCARD GLOBAL reserves the right to decline print jobs that contain literature or
images that are pornographic or racially, religiously or politically offensive |
|
|
|
|
|
6. General Expectation on Printing Outcome |
|
6.1 |
Colour reproduction or accuracy is generally subject to the limitations of gang-run
printing method. Therefore, the accuracy of colour reproduction is NOT guaranteed
as stipulated in our Colour Disclaimer (clause #7). |
|
6.2 |
EXCARD assures you that the colour reproduction & consistency of every piece
of your product printed in the same batch will meet DeltaE 8 requirements. We cannot
be held liable for colour variations between jobs printed in different batches at
different ordering periods. |
|
6.3 |
Trimming: Tolerance of the cutting edge is ±1.5mm |
|
6.4 |
Printed surface dotted with dirt will not exceed 1 dot per 5cm2 and the dot shall
not be larger than 0.3mm.
|
|
6.5 |
While EXCARD will take every caution when handling pressure sensitive materials
like carbonless copy paper (NCR), we cannot guarantee that they will be completely
free of markings after print. |
|
6.6 |
For products with Spot UV finishing, tolerance of registration is ±0.25mm. Members
may not reject their order if Spot UV blemish affects only 2% and below of the printed
quantity per order. |
|
|
|
|
|
7. Colour Disclaimer |
|
In order to provide an economical end cost to our members and a quicker printing
turnaround of the printed matter, EXCARD GLOBAL groups together CMYK work. This
form of printing referred to as “gang-run printing” or “batch printing” is used
for the printing of EXCARD GLOBAL’s selected standard products, and marginal variations
are to be expected from one print run to another.
As such, while we take great effort to match colours as accurately as possible,
we cannot be held liable for these marginal colour variations or inaccuracies in
the printed matter which may be more evident in reprints.
A 100% exact colour match is not possible. The most accurate means of colour matching
entails printing the job in isolation (entire-run print) as a stand alone job. This
means of printing should be supported by contract proofing and will result in the
print cost of the job being significantly greater. |

|
8. Product Refund / Reimbursement Policy |
|
8.1 |
We will only refund or reprint orders for the following conditions: |
|
8.1.1 Order fails to meet the conditions under the General Expectation on Printing
Outcome (Refer to clause #7).
|
However, we are not responsible for typing, image, or design errors introduced by
customers in the artwork/document creation process. In an effort to keep costs down
and pass those savings along to our customers, EXCARD GLOBAL does not review artwork/documents
for content or spelling. In no way shall either EXCARD GLOBAL or its subsidiaries,
officers, directors, shareholders or employees be liable for any special incidents,
indirect or consequential damages, mistakes or rejects of any kind whether or not
the party has been advised of the possibility of such damages or rejects arising
out of or related to an EXCARD GLOBAL Customer's action(s). The Terms of Use constitute
all terms and agreements relating to Customers participating in the EXCARD GLOBAL
Customer Program. |

8.1.2 Order is damaged or
lost by our appointed shipping company. In such cases, sufficient evidence must
be
|
presented. Therefore, we reserve the right to have you return the original order,
at our cost, before reprinting or refunding your order. |
|
8.1.3 No returns will be accepted after 30 days from the Date Send. |
|
8.2 |
If applicable, all refunds or reimbursements for only the conditions stipulated
in 8.1.1 and 8.1.2 will be credited to your online account. |
|
8.3 |
Full refunds will only be given for order cancellations with the status ‘NEW’ in
the Track Order page. We will issue an eVoucher code via email to customer for cancellation
of orders with the status “PENDING” in the track order page. Unless stated otherwise,
such eVouchers are valid for only 180 days from the date of issuance (stated on
email) and are a non-transferable or for re-sale. You may use such an eVoucher code
to place a new order on our website within the validity period. Unless otherwise
stated, an eVoucher code is considered null and void once it is used or expires.
No refunds or eVouchers will be given for orders with the status “PREFLIGHT”, “PRINT”
or “DELIVERY” as these statuses indicates work on your order has begun or is completed. |

9. EXCARD GLOBAL's Intellectual Property Rights |
|
The names, text, images and logos identifying EXCARD GLOBAL or and their products
and services are subject to copyright, design rights and trademarks of the Nothing
contained in these terms shall be construed as conferring by implication, estoppel
or otherwise any license or right to use any trademark, patent, text, design right
or copyright of EXCARD GLOBAL or unless stated in written consent, a Member or party
has no right to produce, copy, disseminate the names, text, images and logos identifying
EXCARD GLOBAL or and their products and services. If suspects a Member has violated
this condition, the management reserves the right to terminate that Member's service
account and membership as well as demand the return of all materials and information
pertaining to EXCARD GLOBAL. In such a case, we shall reimburse that Member for
the return of materials and payment will be subject to the condition of those materials.
also reserves the right to take legal action against any Member who misuses any
trademark, patent, design right or copyright of EXCARD GLOBAL or EXCARD Corporation
Sdn. Bhd and their products and services. |

10. Contributions to EXCARD GLOBAL Website |
|
While you are invited to submit any contribution to the EXCARD GLOBAL website (including
any text, photographs and graphics), you agree, by submitting your contribution,
to grant EXCARD Corporation Sdn. Bhd., a perpetual, royalty-free, non-exclusive,
sub-licenceable right and license to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate,
create derivative works from, distribute, perform, play, make available to the public,
and exercise all copyright and publicity rights with respect to your contribution
worldwide and/or to incorporate your contribution in other works in any media now
known or later developed for the full term of any rights that may exist in your
contribution, and in accordance with privacy restrictions set out in the EXCARD
GLOBAL Privacy Policy. If you do not want to grant EXCARD GLOBAL the rights set
out above, then you are prohibited from submitting contributions to the EXCARD GLOBAL
Website.

11. Privacy Policy |
|
11.1 |
We collect information to process your order as well as to guide and enhance your
online experience and to supply you with information in which you have expressed
an interest. |

11.2 |
At any time you can edit your account details and email address.
|
|
11.3 |
When you log in we collect name and address, telephone, email address, user name
and password. This provides us with default details for your order processing and
sets up security - so viewing of your account details, designs and order history
is password protected. |
|
11.4 |
To help you choose the right product and design to suit your purpose/business we
ask you to make selections and choices - Only the design details are collected if
you choose to save or order.
|
|
11.5 |
When you submit your order we allocate you a customer number, capture order details
and credit card details (if applicable) to process and fulfill your order. Invoicing
address and shipping address are retained when you register as a member so you do
not have to enter them again. Order details are retained so you can view your order
history. |
|
11.6 |
When you enter credit card details you are in communication over a secure link with
a direct merchant system operated by our appointed merchant. They retain details
of the credit card transaction and not EXCARD GLOBAL. You must enter the details
for each purchase for security reasons.
|
|
11.7 |
To improve our services in order to meet your needs, we may ask you for feedback
about our service as well as your business. Supply of this information other then
those that state otherwise is optional and not mandatory. All this data will be
stored so we can effectively improve our services for your convenience. |
|
11.8 |
Security - Access to your account data is password protected. Credit card details
are processed by our appointed merchant's secure server (PAYPAL). |
|
11.9 |
Cookies - We use cookies to personalise your interface with the site. They are small
packets of data stored by your browser on your computer‟s hard drive to identify
yourself to us. Your browser may have a feature to disable cookies or you can delete
them if you wish and your interface will not be severely restricted.

11.10 |
We are interested in your comments and will be pleased to answer any questions concerning
our privacy policy. Click “Contact Us” on our Member Page to email your enquries
and comments to our customer service team. |
